Men's Basketball Signs Devonte Cheatham

Dix Hills, N.Y. - The Five Towns College men's basketball team has signed Devonte Cheatham.

Cheatham, a 6'3 forward from Bronx, New York, attended Herbert H. Lehman High School where he played two years of varsity basketball. He was named MVP both seasons and averaged a double-double with 11.1 points and 11.2 rebounds. Lehman advanced to the PSAL Division A Final Four in the 2018-19 season.

Cheatham previously attended Tompkins Cortland Community College where he played in eight games for the Panthers after recovering from an injury; he averaged three points and eight rebounds since returning.

"Devonte joins our program with experience playing at the NJCAA level. At 6'3, he brings much needed height to our team that will help us in the paint and on the boards." stated head coach Gregg Drzal.
