”I’m incredibly privileged and honored to be joining the men's soccer coaching staff here at Five Towns College. I’d like to thank head coach Jason Fiscina, Athletic Director Matt Guercio, as well as the rest of the Five Towns College athletics department for affording me this opportunity. I am looking forward to helping our student-athletes reach their goals, both on and off the soccer pitch. I want to be an integral part of our program, as we continue to reach new heights and compete for a national championship.” stated Scalia.
With the addition to his coaching staff, head coach Jason Fiscina stated the following: “Coach Scalia has been around the Long Island soccer landscape for close to a decade now. Having had the opportunity to both play with Jonathan and watch him coach, I am ecstatic to have him join our staff. His network made through coaching at both the high school and club level will help in our recruiting efforts. In addition, his genuine passion for the game of soccer and knowledge will be a great asset for our program.”
Scalia earned his Bachelors in Business from Briarcliffe College, and is currently completing the Masters in Coaching program at Ohio University.
