MarceAnn Dunning

MarceAnn Dunning joined Five Towns Athletics in 2017 as the Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach. Dunning played four years of basketball at Division III Medaille College (Buffalo, NY) where she majored in Sports Management. After redshirting her freshman year due to an injury, Dunning returned to have an impressive career over the next three seasons. Dunning finished in the Top 100 in the nation for blocked shots, averaging 1.8 per game (97 career). As team captain her senior year, Dunning became the top 7th scoring player at Medaille and reached the 1,000 career points milestone, while being named First Team-All Conference. After her collegiate career, Dunning traveled overseas to compete while playing for a USA travel team in Italy.

During her time at Medaille, MarceAnn Dunning has helped coach numerous basketball camps. She spent the spring of 2018 coaching two girls Long Island Swarm AAU basketball teams, while assisting with two boys teams for the spring and fall seasons.
