Women's Volleyball Falters in Home Opener

Dix Hills, NY - The Five Towns College women's volleyball team fell in three sets (14-25, 12-25, 13-25) against Union County College in the home opener Tuesday night.

Junior libero Emily Angelastro, a transfer from Nassau Community College led the team in kills with four, and in digs with 14. Lanasia Drain added three kills and one service ace. Anna Matytsina added three service aces, two of which came within the same service rotation to give Five Towns the momentum to go on a 4-0 run in the first set. Setter Jada Roberts-Duncan had eight assists in the effort.
