Dix Hills, NY - The Five Towns College women's volleyball team will be hosting a "Dig Pink" event during the team's home tri-match on Sunday, October 13th.

Dig Pink is a national program by the Side-Out Foundation to support breast cancer research and treatments. Dig Pink events are run by high school and college teams throughout the country. "Each year, tens of thousands of volleyball players, coaches and families across the country join the growing Dig Pink® Movement. Together, they support the development of treatments that are giving stage IV breast cancer patients more quality time with their families and getting them closer to the day we find a cure." Through its first 10 years, the program has raised 14 million dollars for breast cancer research.
