NEW YORK, APRIL, 2, 2020/THOMAS BRICE/-- The Sports Report New York's #1 sports show is proud to announce as guests this week Kyree Sawyer and Damani Merritt from the Five Townss College men's basketball team.
 
Kyree Sawyer, the 2019-20 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Player of the Year, averaged 23.1 points per game in 19 games, which also led the conference for the Five Towns Sound men's basketball team. Kyree Sawyer, who just completed his junior season for the Sound has averaged 22.2 points per game through 55 career games for a total of 1,223 points. Kyree Sawyer was also named a USCAA Division II Men's Basketball First Team All-American.
 
Damani Merritt, in his first season with the Five Towns Sound finished with 17.6 points per game in 20 games including nine games with 20 points or more. Damani Merritt finished 6th in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in scoring. 
 
The Five Towns Sound men's basketball team completed the season in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 5-2 in conference and started the year 5-0 which led the conference for most of the season.
