Men's Soccer Signs Matthew DeJesus
Dix Hills, N.Y. - The Five Towns College men's soccer team has signed Matthew DeJesus, a Sophomore transfer from Georgian Court University.
DeJesus, a defender from Woodbridge, NJ, was a member of the Georgian Court Lions men's soccer team as a Freshman in 2019. At Georgian Court, DeJesus was the first athlete to be inducted into S.A.A.C. as a Freshman and had one of the highest GPAs on the team. He played at Woodbridge High School where he earned the Sportsmanship Award and was a a part of the S.T.A.R.S. mentorship program and was the captain of the Hero & Cool Kids mentorship program. DeJesus previously played for the U.S. Parma an Athletic Club Inter club teams.
"Matthew will make an immediate impact on our program both on and off the pitch. His experience playing at a Division II institution gives him instant credibility within our team." stated head coach Jason Fiscina. "He will compete for time at outside back. Off the pitch his leadership, volunteer efforts, and dedication to his academics will set a great example for his teammates."
