Danny Valverde Named NACIA Player of the Week After Standout Performance
DIX HILLS, NY — The North American Conference for Intercollegiate Athletics (NACIA) has named Danny Valverdeof Five Towns College Sound Men's Soccer the Player of the Week for the week of September 22 – September 28, 2025, following an impressive offensive showing that helped lift the Sound to another key conference win.
Valverde netted two goals during the week, including both scores in a thrilling 2-1 victory over Bryant & Stratton College – Buffalo. His ability to find space, create chances, and finish under pressure was instrumental in securing three vital points for the Sound in NACIA play.
The forward's performance not only showcased his technical ability and composure in front of goal but also highlighted his leadership on the pitch, as he continues to be a driving force in the team's attacking strategy.
