Five Towns Athletics to Add Soccer and Volleyball Fall 2019

Five Towns College Athletic Director Matt Guercio and Five Towns College has announced the addition of new sports to the Sound Athletics Program. Men's and Women's Soccer, along with Women's Volleyball will begin competition in the Fall 2019 semester. The college has also announced that Men's Volleyball will begin in the 2020-2021 academic year.

"We are very pleased to announce the addition of the soccer and volleyball programs at Five Towns College. These sports provide continued growth and development to the athletics department. More importantly, it will expand men's and women's opportunities in athletic competition, while pursuing their academic goals." stated Guercio.

The addition of Soccer and Volleyball will bring the number of intercollegiate athletic teams at Five Towns College to six. Sound athletics currently competes as a Division II team, in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The process of hiring a Head Coach for each sport will begin immediately.
