Wong Earns HVIAC Rookie of the Week

Dix Hills, NY - Five Towns College men's soccer Freshman forward Adrian Wong earned the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Wong helped lead the men's soccer team to its first two wins in program history with a 13-1 win over Webb, and an 18-1 win over Pratt. Through the two games, Wong posted a pair of hat tricks and two assists, good for 14 points on the week. He is now the team's leading scorer and will look to be a key player as the team begins HVIAC play this weekend.

Also earning recognition for the HVIAC Honor Roll is men's soccer player Robinson Munoz, and volleyball's Emily Angelastro and Lanasia Drain.

Munoz posted two goals and three assists against Webb, and three goals and two assists versus Pratt in the 2-0 week for men's soccer. Junior Angelastro totaled 34 digs, nine kills, and four service aces for the Sound. Freshman Drain had a game-high nine kills in a four set loss to Anna Maria, also adding two service aces and a solo block.
